Changsha’s Huanghua International Airport had its first de-icing drill this winter on Dec 11, to ensure aviation safety during the winter, especially for the Spring Festival travel rush period, Changsha Evening News reported.

The airport has reserved 85 tons of de-icing liquid and all staff members and deicing equipment are well prepared, to guarantee smooth winter flights for passengers.
