Updated: 2014-08-19

A rally to publicize the 2014 China (Changsha) Science and Technology Achievements Transformation Fair was recently held in Changsha.

The Fair has become an important event in Changsha. The 2014 session will start on October 23, focusing on mobile Internet, Beidou navigation, advanced equipment, new materials and bio-pharmaceuticals.

It will be themed along the lines of integrating industry, university, research, and finance; innovation and entrepreneurship in Changsha. Apart from inviting experts to carry out long-depth business investigation in Changsha, local enterprises visited the key universities in Beijing and Shanghai to promote mutual understanding and clarify technology supply and demand, in a bid to establish long-term cooperative relationships.

This session has not been designed to set up a large-scale comprehensive exhibition area, but instead, more attention and effort will be placed on experts’ industrial park tours, enterprises’ university tours, bids for solving technical problems and the celebration of science and technology achievements.

During the meeting, Xia urged all departments to plan carefully the preparatory work for the Fair, including the collection of projects, and improving communication in the earlier stages of projects, to ensure the success of the Fair.
