Updated: 2014-08-18
This project involves Xiaotang Rd and Quantang St, in the southeastern part of Changsha county, just to the east of the Beijing-Hong Kong and Macao Highway, just to the south of Changsha-Yong’an Highway, and adjacent to the towns of Langli and Huanghua, and about a 20-minute drive from Huanghua International Airport and the downtown area of Changsha.
The street covers a 21-sq-km area and is home to 82,000 people, more than 300 companies, eight colleges and universities, six markets, and three resettlement areas. The project is 1,000 meters long, 6 to 8 m for greenbelts in the mid-section. There will be pedestrian areas of 9-10 m on both sides of the street, with room for vehicles in emergencies and a buffer area 3 m from the greenbelt. The area has seen rapid development and has huge market potential, so preparations and planning are underway and the project has Changsha county government backing.
