Norway Telemark County signed an agreement with central China's Hubei Province on May 18, 2006 to establish friendship province relations.

Hubei delegation made a visit to Norway and held talks with Norwegian officials in Environmental Protection Department, Foreign Affairs Department, Trade Department, etc.

Two sides agreed to further cooperation on environmental protection, human resources exchange, economic and technologic development.

It is the 15th friendship province status Hubei has signed with foreign provinces, states and counties.
