On October 30,1995, Gyor and Wuhan became sister cities. With sound relationship between both parties, the leadership of both cities makes many times mutual visits, which obtains great achievement.

In the summer of 1998 when Wuhan was in key moment of flood prevention, Deputy Mayor of Gyor led the delegation to visit Wuhan, and came to the dangerous sections of bank to express sympathy and solicitude. In 2000,Mr．Bai Mingyi, Ambassador of Hungary in China was invited to Wuhan Exposition of Mechanical and Electrical Products to discuss on the probability of cooperation with Wuhan's automobile industry.
