Jade carving and roses will have no apparent connection with each other until the ancient city of Nanyang in Henan province brings them together at the Nanyang Jade Carving Cultural Festival & Rose Fair from April 26 to May 3.

The jade carving festival, organized by the Gems & Jewelry Trade Association of China and the Henan provincial government, has been celebrated in Nanyang annually since 1993. The rose fair, to be held concurrently, is hosted by the China Flower Association and Henan Flower Association.

Together, they make the event a significant platform to promote jade and rose culture, strengthen economic cooperation, and raise Nanyang's profile through a series of seminars, exhibitions and trade fairs. Tourists will be able to admire the magnificent jade carvings amid the enticing rose fragrance permeating the city.
