According to the Guizhou Bureau of Statistics, the industrial added value in Southwest China's Guizhou province has increased by 9.8 percent from January to July, which is four percentage points higher than the national level and ranks second in China.
The high-tech and equipment manufacturing industries has increased by 16.3 percent and 12 percent respectively, accounting for 21.1 percent of the total industrial economy of the province.
Guizhou has achieved a total profit of 48.1 billion yuan ($6.72 billion) in industrial operations during the first half of this year, increased by 7.9 percent.
At present, Guizhou produces 320 varieties of industrial products, 182 of which has increased by 56.9 percent in output, including 2.2 times in aluminum alloy, 94 percent in new energy vehicles, 40.9 percent in synthetic fibers, 26.8 percent in electronic components, 21.1 percent in optoelectronic devices, and 14.1 percent in aluminum materials.
With key enterprises established last year to be put into operation, Guizhou is expected to see stable growth in its industrial economy, with promising benefits during the second half of the year.
