The local library seminar of the 3rd Confucian Academy Book Fair (CABF) was held at the Confucian Academy in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Aug 29.
The participants, which included editors-in-chiefs and experts from nine local libraries of eight provinces, offered suggestions regarding the current methods of compiling, digital transformation, and cultural transmission in local libraries.
The initiative of integrating compiling and publishing in local libraries was issued during the seminar. The exchanges among local library projects will be promoted through the open platform that realizes resource sharing, talent sharing, and collaborative development.
