Sanbao Primary School in Qinglong county, Qianxinan Bouyei and Miao autonomous prefecture, Southwest China's Guizhou province held a recitation activity on June 1 to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the People's Republic of China.
Students of Sanbao Primary School and representatives of poverty alleviation workers, soldiers, and ethnic groups attended the activity and read the work of famous Chinese scholar and reformist Liang Qichao (1873-1929).
Thanks to the poverty alleviation work, more than 6,000 villagers have relocated from poverty-stricken areas to a town with Yi ethnic group features. The town integrates with primary, secondary, and tertiary industries, which is expected to increase the income of local residents.
