A cole flower festival will be held in Mugang town, Liuzhi special region, Liupanshui city, Southwest China's Guizhou province, from March 8 to the end of March.
The festival has been held for nine years and aims to promote Liuzhi's agricultural products and rural tourist attractions.
Focusing on supply-side structural reform, Liuzhi is striving to develop its tourism sector by improving mountain tourism and modern agriculture.
The history of cole cultivation in Mugang can be traced back over 2,000 years. By improving old varieties and introducing new ones, the town's cole yield has been increasing year by year, while the flower's petals have become more ornamental.

The bee industry developed along with the cole industry and is a traditional fast-moving industry with low investment requirements that yields quick results and large economic returns.
In addition to the more direct benefits, bees can also pollinate crops, fruit trees, herbs, vegetables, and traditional Chinese medicine to improve the yield and quality of agricultural products.
Mugang's bee-related products have earned a strong reputation and are trusted by the public.
The cole flower festival will consist of various activities including song and dance performances, a gourmet festival, and a beer gala night. Tourists will have a chance to win tickets to scenic spots in Liuzhi, free admission to hotels, free KTV, and other prizes through prize draws.
