Guizhou province carried out a series measures to help enterprises save in excess of 50 billion yuan ($7.39 billion) by cutting costs in the first three quarters of this year.
The major step was to reduce electricity usage, which saved enterprises 2.03 billion yuan. Other measures were taken to reduce production, transportation, logistics and transaction costs among enterprises.
The province plans to make reforms to its electricity industry and apply big data technology in logistics and financing to help enterprises save approximately 70 billion yuan throughout the year.
