Hechi holds patriotic poetry recitation contest

A patriotic poetry recitation contest was held at Hechi University in Hechi, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region on June 21, attracting 11 teams from various counties in Hechi.

The contest aims to instill a national spirit and patriotic enthusiasm in teenagers, cadres and the masses, with a particular focus on reform and innovation.

Bama Yao autonomous county brought audiences into the poetic mood with an opening recitation.

Contestants used their poetry to praise Hechi’s achievements in the new era and continue a longstanding Chinese tradition.

After fierce competition, the team from Yizhou district won the top prize and will represent Hechi in the finals in Nanning, capital city of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, in early July.
