More than 500 young athletes put their sporting prowess on display at a track and field meet in Huanjiang Maonan ethnic county, Hechi city of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region on Aug 7.

Hailing from 11 counties and districts of Hechi, the athletes competed in sprinting, high jump, long jump, shot-put and javelin, during the three-day event.

Many talent scouts were also in attendance, hoping to find the next sporting superstar.
