Zhaoqing High-tech Industrial Development Zone: Explore new cooperation fields

On June 3, Dr. Jonathan Choi Koon-shum, chairman of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce led a delegation to Zhaoqing High-tech Industrial Development Zone. Liang Qingxiong, deputy director of the administrative committee showed the delegation around the zone.

The delegation visited Guangdong International Circuit, Asia Aluminum Industrial City and the business startup service center of the district.

At the business startup service center, Liang Qingxiong showed welcome to the delegation for their visit of Zhaoqing High-tech Industrial Development Zone. He said the zone administrators will provide good service and invite the delegation to make investment.

During the visit, the location and transportation advantage and the reasonable planning and construction of the development zone drew great attention of the members of the delegation. They expressed they would follow the development of the zone and seek new cooperation fields.

The Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, founded in 1900, is one of the oldest and largest chambers of commerce in Hong Kong. Currently, it has more than 6,000 members. The visit of the delegation to Zhaoqing this time is mainly for further implementing the Framework Agreement on Hong Kong/ Guangdong Cooperation, expanding the space of trade and economic cooperation between Guangdong and Hong Kong, promoting the economic and trade cooperation between the industrial and commercial circles of Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta economic circle and seeking potential fields for economic and trade cooperation.
