Updated: 2018-06-01
Friendship blossomed at a highly competitive Sino-British interscholastic football match at Zhanjiang Experimental Middle School on May 28, with the local junior football team facing off against 14 Brooke House College students.
The students, native to Britain, Spain and the United States, came a long way from the United Kingdom accompanied by their head coach Istvan Kislorincz and assistant coach Kevin John Doherty.
The event, organized by the Zhanjiang Sports Bureau and the Zhanjiang Education Bureau, was overseen locally by the Zhanjiang Football Association, the Chikan Sports Bureau and the Chikan Education Bureau.
