HK seeks opportunities at CMEE 2016

The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Guangdong set up a pavilion at the China Marine Economy Expo (CMEE) 2016 held at the Zhanjiang Olympic Sports Center on Nov 24, to showcase the urban development of Hong Kong Special Administration Region.

The Hong Kong pavilion exhibited its advantages in shipping, marine tourism and marine environmental protection.

"It is the first time for the Guangdong office to set up such a comprehensive pavilion during the expo," said Albert Tang, director of Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Guangdong. "Hong Kong is looking for business opportunities through the expo."

As an international finance hub, Hong Kong boasts sound infrastructure and markets, professional talents and independent justice system, favorable to international trade. The region is able to play the important roles of investor, intermediary and supporter in trade along the Belt and Road route.
