The four-day Zhanjiang-ASEAN Agriculture Trade Fair opened at the Zhanjiang International Convention Center, Guangdong province on June 2. It is considered an important part of the exchanges between Guangdong and ASEAN countries. Let's take a look at what the fair was like through the eyes of some visitors.

Zhanjiang enjoys a profound friendship with ASEAN countries, and in recent years the cooperation between the two parties has been expanded. Thailand has become one of the most important partners and investment destinations for Zhanjiang. The commission organized more than 100 enterprises to attend the agriculture trade fair, another success for the city.

I'd like to use the fair as an opportunity to expand cooperation between ASEAN members and Zhanjiang, or even Guangdong. In the second half of this year, Thailand will encourage more enterprises to attend the China Marine Expo in Zhanjiang. By cooperating at the agriculture trade fair, I think we can accumulate greater experiences for holding the marine expo.

The fair drew many leading enterprises from the association and 500 famous and excellent enterprises across the country, providing an effective platform for the development of agricultural enterprises and the promotion of their products.

Zhanjiang enjoys a unique geographic environment suitable for agricultural development and the city government attaches great importance to the industry. I believe that a growing number of agricultural leading enterprises will invest in Zhanjiang, helping the development of Zhanjiang's agricultural modernization.

The agriculture trade fair is a great success and provides a good opportunity for learning, expanding our horizons and increasing exchanges.

Zhanjiang has a strong agriculture sector and is home to several colleges, such as the Guangdong Ocean University. The city has a solid foundation to expand agriculture but needs more investment. I think the fair is a platform to draw more investors.
