A dozen export products from 22 enterprises in Zhanjiang, Guangdong province have enjoyed tariff reduction of about 600,000 yuan ($91,920) since China's free trade agreements (FAT) with South Korea and Australia went into effect on Dec 20, 2015, according to the city's entry-exit inspection and quarantine bureau.

As of the end of February, the government body has issued 27 visas of the certificates of origin for goods exported to South Korea, totaling $886,300 and 32 visas worth $684,800 to Australia.

Industry experts say that the certificates of origin will effectively reduce foreign customers' expenditures on tariffs to help Chinese domestic trade enterprises maintain a good relationship with their foreign counterparts, in a bid to expand free trade markets.
