※ Huguang Yan World Geological Park
Huguang Yan World Geological Park is located 18 kilometers northeast of downtown Zhanjiang, Guangdong province. It covers a total area of 38 square kilometers. The Park is situated on maar volcanic landforms.
The greatest attraction in the park is the Huguang Yan Lake, the only maar lake formed in a crater in China.
The water is so clear that the surface looks like a mirror which reflects the surrounding rocks, creating a beautiful landscape painting.
Tall trees stand high into the sky and ancient vines intertwine with trees. With lush vegetation, the park has a high concentration of negative oxygen ions, therefore called the "natural oxygen bar". While walking along the lake, you are set to feel very refreshed and joyful.
