The Sanhe Dam Battle Memorial Park includes a martyrs’ monument erected in 1963 by the local government. The 15-meter-high monument is built with 356 granites in 35 sizes, on which are carved inscriptions by Zhu De, a military leader of the Communist Party of China.

After years of planning and reconstruction, the Sanhe Dam Battle Memorial Park covers 180,000 square meters and consists of nine parts, including a sightseeing gallery, conference rooms and a large parking lot.

Now, the trumpet summons us again. The number of tourists has reached 300,000 a year.
