From Dec. 4th to 5th, 2015, the Johannesburg Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation was held in Johannesburg, South Africa. A delegation of CGGC International participated in this Summit. On the Summit, Lyu Zexiang, President of CGGC International, and Yuan Baoyi, Vice President of CGGC International, respectively met with Presidents of Niger, Uganda, South Sudan, Equatorial Guinea, Cote d'Ivoire, Senegal, Guinea-Bissau, and Vice President of Tanzania.

Lyu and Yuan introduced the development process, technical strength, investment and financing capability, global distribution and representative projects of CGGC, explained its cooperative philosophy of "Honesty, Fairness and Win-win", detailed business conditions in African counties over recent years, reported progresses of major projects, and expressed gratitudes to the support and assistance provided by local governments and people for CGGC’s development in Africa over time. In the end, they expressed a willingness to further promote wide-ranging and in-depth cooperation in energy infrastructure and investment within the broad China-African cooperation framework announced at this Summit.
The leaders acknowledged great achievements made by CGGC in infrastructure construction. Nigerian President Issoufou recalled his deep impressions on and good memories of his on-site visit to the Three Gorges Dam, and Ugandan President Museveni looked forward to early commencement of Ayago North and South Hydropower Project to benefit his people. All of the leaders agreed that CGGC enjoyed high renowns and showed great strengths thanks to the Three Gorges Project and a series of outstanding projects undertaken in Africa, and expected CGGC to construct more high-quality projects in Africa in the future.
During this Summit, the delegation also met with Finance Minister of Ethiopia, Finance Minister of Zimbabwa, Trade and Industry minister of Malawai, Minister of Planning Economic Affairs of Chad and other ministers of Africa governments to understand development plans and bilateral economic and trade policies of their governments.
Lyu Zexiang and the delegation also met with ambassadors of China to Ghana and another seven African countries, the Commercial Counselor of China in South Africa and Consul General in Johannesburg, reported CGGC's business progress in corresponding countries, and listened to guidance and advice from these them.
On this Summit, the delegation also held talks with related officials of Chinese financial institutions.
