On October 12, Mr. Lyu Zexiang, Vice President of CGGC International, met Mr. Hon. Joseph Mwanamveka, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Malawi, at Beijing Head Office of CGGC International.
Mr. Lyu briefly introduced the market layout and development of the CGGC's international business, expressed gratitude to Minister Joseph for his strong support and assistance to CGGC in Malawi, and also introduced its recent business in Malawi in detail. Mr. Lyu said that CGGC would take the construction of Kammwamba Coal-fired Power Plant as an opportunity to implement the development concept of "honesty, fairness and win-win", and benefit the people of Malawi to show a good example of Chinese enterprises in Malawi.
Minister Joseph fully affirmed the extensive work of CGGC on the effective promotion of Kammwamba Coal-fired Power Plant, further negotiated with CGGC on the investments in Malawi, and expressed his expectation on the early commencement of the Project and its benefits to Malawian people.
The Ambassador of Malawi to China also participated in the meeting.
