On February 2, 2015, CGGC signed a Collaboration Agreement in Beijing with MAN Group, world engine tycoon. Both sides will exert their respective advantages to jointly develop the business in distributed energy and expand global market for mutual benefits.
Present in this ceremony were Mr. Nie Kai, Member of the Standing Committee﹠Vice President of CEEC, Executive Director, President ﹠ Chairman of CGGC, Mr. Jiang Xiaobing, Vice President and Chief Engineer of CGGC, Mr. Chen Xiaohua, Vice President of CGGC, Doctor Mr. Uwe Lauber, Global CEO of MAN Group, Mr. Goetz Kassing, Chairman of MAN Group(China). Jiang Xiaobing and Goetz Kassing signed their names on the Collaboration Agreement.
“Starting from hydropower construction and gaining its name after the Gezhouba Water Conservancy Project, the first dam on Yangtze River, CGGC is also the main contractor for the Three Gorges Project and has constructed dozens of world-level large hydropower projects. As the main force in Chinese hydropower sector, CGGC has been devoting to infrastructure construction and equipment manufacturing for decades with strong investment and financing capabilities through finance innovation. Despite of global stagnant economy, CGGC focuses on industrial restructure and sets foot in high-end equipment infrastructure, environmental protection and other strategic emerging fields. CGGC has diversified its business into construction, investment, real estate and other fields, while it only focuses on construction before. CGGC’s rapid growth and numerous overseas branches and offices for international business lay the foundation for bilateral corporation.” Mr. Nie Kai said.
Nie Kai emphasized that great priority has been given to high-end equipment manufacturing and strong support will be rendered as well for bilateral corporation. He expected both sides would collaborate in relative fields throughout the world in the spirit of faith, fairness and win-win. He also conveyed best wishes for a brighter future of the collaboration.
Doctor Uwe Lauber consented Mr. Nie Kai’s view on world economy. He said: “CGGC has gained great worldwide prestige in infrastructure construction, especially in general contracting, financing, investment and etc. MAN Group, as the leading engine manufacturer for steam, diesel and gas engines, has its prominent technical advantages.” Starting from this Collaboration Agreement, he envisaged a better development through mutual complementation.
The Collaboration Agreement was signed under the witness of all guests. CGGC and MAN Group will expand global market on distributed energy equipment manufacturing and widen and deepen their collaboration by giving play to each other’s advantages.
