NW China concentrating on oil crop harvest

The Huanxian county agriculture and animal husbandry bureau, in Gansu province has announced this year's harvest season for its 9,000 hectares of land planted in oil crops, with flax accounting for around 5,000 hectares.
The county is also known for its high quality grain, such as buckwheat, millet, oats and sunflowers.
Huanxian county has been designated an "excellent grain producing county" by the Ministry of Agriculture and it is the main producer of cashmere in the country.
