The Fuzhou Hot Spring Museum in Fujian province has almost completed construction and is expected to open in August, Fznews.com.cn reported on April 1.
The new museum, occupying an area of 13,986 square meters and a total construction area of 20,000 square meters, is composed of a sensual experience area and a recreational and fitness area.
With a total investment of 500 million yuan ($82.6 million), the museum, located in the Hot Spring Park, aims to give a full display of Fuzhou's hot spring culture.
Fuzhou boasts abundant hot spring resources and has been honored as a "Chinese Hot Spring City". The city has focused on cultural industry development and is striving to promote the construction of three cultural industrial parks in 2015.
