Residents interested in square dancing in Fuzhou, capital city of Fujian province, can sign up for a training course before April 1, fznews.com reported on March 10.
The course, organized by the Fuzhou Dancers Association, will be held at the Taijiang Cultural Center. It costs 580 yuan ($96) for the total 12 training classes. The association will issue a certificate to those who pass the qualification test. For those who fail the training, the association will allow them to attend one more training class for free.
Nearly 3,000 people from over 120 teams have participated in the first square dance competition in the city last year, the association said, adding that the training will coordinate with the theme of the first National Youth Games to be held in Fuzhou in October 2015.
