The hotel will present the most authentic dishes with a special Mexican taste and “hot” Latin style. Mexican cuisine is famous for its color. Every dish will be designed with red, white and green, the colors of the Mexican flag. Due to the Spanish conquest and influenced by ancient Indian cultures, sour and spicy flavors are dominant in Mexican cuisine.

The buffet and a la cart menus are both personally designed by Mexican chef Gerardo, including Mexican stuffed jalapeno chili (jalapeno chile relleno), guacamole with nacho chips, burritos (taco de harina), seafood cocktail (vuelve ala veda), Mexican shrimp soup (caldo de camaron), squid in green sauce (calamari en salsa verde), fish in rosemary sauce (pescado en salsa de romero), tacos, lemon stuffed with coconut meat (limones rellenos de coco) and 30 more authentic Mexican dishes. Chef Gerardo highly recommends his signature dish, seafood cocktail (vuelve ala veda). This dish integrates the chef’s flavorful recipe of cocktail sauce, fresh prawn, squid and other kinds of seafood that evoke the feeling of the wind from the Pacific on Mexico’s west coast.

Food, music and dance are the most significant elements of Mexican culture. The Mexican Carnival will have mariachi, Chiapas dances, Veracruz dances, pre-hispanic dances and other Mexican cultural performances. Guests are welcome to join the performance.

In addition, the hotel will launch an activity named “My Mexican Style.” Guests will have the opportunity to win 100 percent cash-back prizes when they share their Mexican Carnival dining experience. For more details, please scan the QR code below or search: fuzhoushangri-la.
