The Fuzhou government signed a strategic framework agreement with the China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) on Aug 18. Yang Yue, Party secretary of Fuzhou, and Yi Jun, president of the CSCEC, attended the signing ceremony and titled the company’s Fuzhou headquarters.
The signing of the agreement signals that Fuzhou will further strengthen strategic cooperation with the CSCEC. The CSCEC will set up a regional headquarter and a national technology R&D center. It will make full use of its professional advantages in urban planning, construction and infrastructure to help the city improve urban service functions. In turn, Fuzhou will implement a set of supporting policies in land use and taxes for the company.
The CSCEC is China’s largest construction and real estate company and the only authorized contractor for home building, municipal engineering and road construction. It ranks 100th among the Fortune Global 500 and first in global construction companies.
