The Tingjiangyuan Nature Reserve in Changting county, Fujian province got National AAA Scenic Spot designation from the provincial Tourism Evaluation Bureau recently thanks to its being one of the county's 12 major attractions and its reputation as the home of Hakka culture.

The nature reserve's Babao Peak, its prominence in Western Fujian Buddhism, unique natural water cave, and Chinese yew forests are some of the reasons for its being recognized, along with Longyan's Jiuzhaigou Valley, for its scenery, culture, and nature resources.
