A tea garden, with tea leaves all in yellow, recently turned into a hit tourist destination in the Pingyuan village, Xiapu County, East China's Fujian province.
At an elevation of more than 500 meters, the plantation covers an area of over 130 mu (8.67 hectares) and is the largest one of its kind in the province.
According to a garden staffer the tea tree, which features yellow leaves and high yields, is a new variety of tea developed by the Fujian provincial department of agriculture.
By virtue of its unique color the tea garden has drawn many a visitor from surrounding areas.
