More than 100 car racers descended upon Yongding district of Longyan in Southeast China's Fujian province on Jan 21-22 to take part in an autocross held in the city.
The event, which has been held for two years in a row, is designed to attract racers prominently from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
Autocross is an entry-level motorsport that demands car handling and driving skills rather than engine power and outright speed.
Yongding is long renowned for its fortress-like residences built with soil, which have been inscribed on the World Heritage List.
