The Changchun Automobile Economic and Technological Development Zone in Changchun -- capital city of Northeast China's Jilin province -- has streamlined and innovated its administrative examination and approval procedures to help foreign-funded companies register in the zone quickly, according to local reports.

Silk EV, an automotive engineering and design company with operations in the United States, Italy and China, recently received its business license in the zone.

A major project in the zone, the newly established company plans to produce the first-ever sports car under FAW Group's Hongqi brand, which will boost the development of the Changchun international auto city in the zone, according to officials.

To ensure the establishment of the project on schedule, the zone's market supervision bureau communicated with the company and the zone's investment promotion bureau and business environment bureau, to streamline the preparations and registration process.

The zone's market supervision bureau has also offered one-to-one services for companies in the zone, providing guidance for the whole registration process, according to officials.

The bureau will continue to improve its services for resident companies, officials added.
