Flash mob event held in Changchun
People wearing ethnic dresses sing My Motherland and Me at a flash mob event in Nanhu Park in Changchun, in Northeast China's Jilin province, on June 9. Flash mobs are a fad of recent years that originated in the US -- where a group of people organize on the internet for fun and then quickly assemble in a public place to do something special or bizarre before dispersing. The event was organized and participated by members from the Jilin women photographers’ association, to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. [Photo/IC]
