Singer Amy Winehouse has expressed her urge to open a beauty salon once her busy singing-schedule collapses.

The 'Rehab' singer, who is set to appear as the cover girl of American Vogue next month, recently revealed that she would love to open a beauty salon.

"I'd love to have a beauty salon. My grandmother, God rest her soul, pretty much trained me and my brother. He'd give her a pedicure and I'd do her nails and her hair," Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.

Winehouse's husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, also feels that she will be excellent at the job.

"(When we first met) my mum had just bought a hair salon. Amy came to see it and loved the idea because she likes doing girls' hair and making people feel good," Blake said.

According to reports, Winehouse was personally invited by Anna Wintour, editor of American Vogue, to grace the iconic publication's front page, after Wintour fell for the singer's album Back To Black and her unique sense of style.

The shoot for the issue has already taken place in Miami where Amy posed for top photographer Bruce Weber.
