A Dutch newspaper says the customer found the frog halfway through her meal at the Burger King restaurant at The Hague's central train station.

The woman has lodged a complaint with the Dutch government, but is not likely to sue for emotional damages or punitive damages. Large compensation suits are virtually unknown in Holland.

The company says it can't speculate about whether the amphibian just hopped in while the salads were being prepared, or was placed in the salad by an employee or customer as a gag.
