Within the walls of its cozy and refined 1920’s-style New York jazz club, the Flow Lounge and Bar, located on the ground floor of the Swissôtel Beijing Hong Kong Macau Center will present the musical performance ‘Give Me The Simple Life’, starring Tyler Kent, the young American singing sensation from San Francisco. This delightful musical show features the best songs from the Great American Songbook - the uniquely-American genre of music from the 1920’s through 1960’s - from Hollywood and Broadway - that represent America’s most popular music.

‘Give Me The Simple Life’ is a celebration of music from iconic composers of the 20th century such as Irving Berlin, George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Richard Rodgers, Harold Arlen and Jerome Kern. In this joyous and uplifting cabaret show, Tyler Kent, with his versatile four-octave vocal range, interprets these jazz standards to perfection. These songs, with their witty and urbane lyrics and unexpected rhymes, center on the timeless simple themes in life: love, family, home, and friends. ‘Give Me The Simple Life’ will be performed with a live jazz band. The performances will begin on 29 December, 2010 and continue until 31 January, 2011 at the Flow Lounge and Bar, at 9:00 pm Tuesday through Saturday. Special New Year’s Eve performance on 31 December at 10:00pm. For additional details regarding the weekly performance schedule, please call: 86-10-6553-2288.
