Beijing restaurants:New fish hotpot

Sino Hot Taste (新辣道鱼火锅) recently opened its ninth restaurant on the fifth floor of Xizhimen Capital Retail Department Store. The restaurant is known for its signature dish, a catfish from Sichuan province's Jinsha River boiled in an herb broth.

After eating the fish, diners can use the broth for hotpot, tossing in such food as bean curd, fish rolls, mushrooms and vegetables. The restaurant offers a variety of spicy dishes typical of Sichuan cuisine and a special drink called "Mother Xu's cold tea", in addition to sweet-and-sour plum juice beverages.
