'Male websites' call for ban on Megan Fox

A number of male-centric websites have called to ban the mention of Megan Fox for one day, it has been reported.

The Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen star has been in the press for her recent war of words with director Michael Bay, while it was also claimed that she turned down a Bond girl role in the next 007 feature.

According to Access Hollywood, several sites targeted at men have proclaimed August 4 "Megan Fox media blackout day".

"You can have too much of a good thing," AskMen.com editor James Bassil said. "We're joining in the media blackout and giving our readers a one-day reprieve from the woman we've been drowning in all summer."

It was reported earlier that the 23-year-old actress denied that she was feuding with her Transformers helmer.
