Four suspects were shot dead by police in the city of Kashgar in Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region on Sunday afternoon, following an eruption of violence at 4:30 pm, in which more than 10 pedestrians and police officers were injured.

Four other suspects were caught, while police are still looking for another four.

The rioting happened after at least seven people in the city were killed when two people hijacked a truck at 11:45 pm on Saturday, stabbing the driver to death and then ramming into pedestrians.

The pair later jumped out of the truck and hacked at bystanders.

Xinjiang, home to China's Uygur and other ethnic groups, has been under terrorist threat in recent years.

Police shot 14 people who attacked a police station and killed four people, including an armed police officer, a security guard, a woman and a teenage girl, in Xinjiang's Hotan city on July 18.

At least four other people were injured.

Police concluded later that the riot was "violent terrorism" organized by terrorism groups.

There was also a big riot on July 5, 2009, when rock-flinging and knife-wielding rioters looted shops, torched vehicles and killed nearly 200 people.

In March 2008, five months before the Beijing Olympics, police arrested a 19-year-old Uygur for her foiled terrorist attempt on a passenger flight.

Questions:

1. How many suspects were shot dead?

2. What time was the truck hijacked?

3. When did police arrest a 19-year-old for a foiled terrorist attack?

Answers:

1. Four.

2. 11:45 pm.

3. March 2008.
