Are you a happy woman? Nearly 70 percent of Chinese women are content with their lives, according to a new survey. About 68.5 percent of the women say they live in a "harmonious family", with just 6 percent unhappy with their lives, says the survey, conducted by Women of China and Huakun Women's Life Survey Center. Almost 2,000 women from 20 major Chinese cities -- including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Chongqing -- responded to the survey, with 52 percent saying they are "happy" with their marriage, but nearly 30 percent say the life is "unromantic". Women's happiness is closely related to life stability and income -- 77 percent of the "happy" women are married and 43 percent of them have university degrees, says the survey. The survey also says that nearly half of the respondents (47 %) are content with their sexual life, with 5 percent expressing disappointment. About 17 percent of the respondents had never had a gynecological examination, while 43 percent make sure they get an annual check-up, says the survey.
