Through the song, Dormitory 1022 hopes to inspire young people to stick to their dreams and keep going amid difficulties and challenges.

It's not the first song to get a strong reaction from Chinese fans.

Several days ago, a music video went viral on the internet as it brought back memories for many Chinese, particularly those living overseas.

In the video, a middle-aged man plays guitar and sings the classic song Boundless Oceans, Vast Skies by Beyond, one of the most influential rock bands in China. A girl passes by and is moved to tears by the patriotic sentiment of the song.

The song Boundless Oceans, Vast Skies, popular in both Japanese and Cantonese, epitomizes the untamed pursuit of ideals and freedom despite obstacles and has been used in many important occasions.

Yu Quan is a soft rock duet from China.

2. The Little Tigers

Xiao Hu Dui, also known as the Little Tigers, was a Taiwanese boy band formed in 1988.

The band consisted of Alec Su, Nicky Wu and Julian Chen. The trio rose to fame during the late 1980s, achieving success in their native Taiwan and throughout Asia.

Their success led to the recognition, popularity and creation of Taiwanese idol boy bands and other pop acts.

In 2010, Xiao Hu Dui briefly reunited, performing for CCTV's Spring Festival Gala.

1.Beyond

Beyond was a Hong Kong rock band that formed in 1983. The band is widely considered to be one of most successful and influential music groups in Asia.

There is a saying China that "Wherever you stay, as long as there exists Chinese people, you will hear the song of Beyond."

In 1993, the founder of the group Wong Ka Kui died in an accident while filming a show at Fuji Television in Tokyo.

The remaining members Paul Wong, Wong Ka Keung and Yip Sai Wing continued before deciding to pursue their own solo careers in 2005, and Beyond officially disbanded. But the spirit of encouragement and bravery embodied in the group lives on.
