溅渣护炉技术
 
溅渣护炉技术是通过对炼钢过程中产生的留于炉内部分的炉渣进行调节或出钢后对终点炉渣进行改性,然后采用将高压氮气吹入炉内,将炉渣吹溅到转炉炉壁上,修补受损炉衬,以延长转炉炉衬使用寿命(即提高炉龄)的一种技术,是现代炼钢工艺的一项重大新技术。该技术20世纪90年代通过美国专家引入中国,在国内推广应用。在没有应用溅渣护炉技术以前,我国转炉一般炉龄到3000炉左右时,就要停下来对转炉炉衬进行修补,修补周期在一周左右。采用该技术后,使得我国转炉炉龄提高了5-10倍,生产效率提高了30%以上,2003年武钢最高炉龄已达到30368炉。为炼钢厂的设计和生产技术带来了变革。目前我国技术人员在该项技术的基础上,在转炉溅渣护炉机理研究、溅渣条件下复吹转炉底吹供气元件蚀损机理研究上又有新突破,并已达到世界先进水平。
