Chengdu constructs infrastructures through the concept of creating “urban corridors”.

The urban corridor is comprised of a traffic corridor and a municipal infrastructure corridor. In addition to traffic facilities, other trunk pipelines for the supply of water, electricity, gas and communications will also pass through.
