Lovers of art and food will find their appetite for both satisfied at this event - a combination of informed conversation, food, wine and an exhibition. An art talk in Cantonese and English by the founder of Cheer Bell Gallery, Christina Tung, will be followed by a cocktail reception. Works by the well-known ink painter and calligrapher Lam Tian Xing will be presented together with authentic Chinese dishes of the less seen and rarely sampled variety, underscoring how food and art can be made to resonate with each other.
Also known as the "Master of the Hall of Boundlessness", Lam combines traditional Chinese and Western techniques to craft original works of art. Local restaurant Fang Fang is in charge of creating food that looks good enough to hang on the wall.
