MUST students champion the Global Management Challenge Macao Final two years in a row

Students of Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) won the championship and the 2nd runner-up at the Global Management Challenge 2016 Macao Final. The award-presentation banquet was held at the conference hall of MGM on February 9. The event was organized by the Macao Management Association; it is the largest-scale strategic management simulation contest, which is held annually. The championed team will represent the Macao Special Administrative Region to attend the international finale to be held in Qatar this April and compete against the other champion teams from 27 countries or regions for the world championship.

The two award-winning teams of MUST are Team Twilight and Team Almighty. Members of the champion team, Team Twilight, include graduate student Tang Xinrui and Zhou Ying, and undergraduate student Liu Yuan from School of Business, plus undergraduate student of Faculty of Humanities and Arts, Liu Zhangbo. They applied the knowledge learned in classes, built up on their experiences at the contest and reflected continuously on their performances, excelled among the 111 participant teams and entered the finals, and finally claimed the championship. Team Almighty won the second runner-up; they are teamed up by undergraduate students Gao Yi, Cai Chen, Huang Can, and Fu Zihao of the School of Business. Students of MUST have always performed well and won awards at the Global Management Challenge; this is the second time in a row that students of MUST have won the championship and 2nd runner-up; they've also claimed the championship, runner-up, and 2nd runner-up all at once many times.
