Rebranding and special discounts at Dorsett

Keep an eye on Dorsett Hospitality International. The group of hotels now consists of specialty boutique hotels ("d.Collection"), Dorsett hotels and resorts ("Dorsett Grand" and "Dorsett" venues), and a no-frills line of properties ("Silka Hotels"). The Dorsett Hospitality group was formerly known as Kosmopolito Hotels International. It rebranded in September 2012. The Hong Kong-based company has unrolled upgrades across its 16 hotels. Nine are based in Hong Kong, eight more Dorsett properties are underway in key Asian cities and it is also expanding in the UK.

To commemorate the Lunar New Year Holiday, Dorsett is offering "Gong Xi Fa Cai" deals of up to 35 percent savings at hotels across the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Malaysia from Jan 26-Feb 24. Participating hotels on the mainland include the Dorsett Grand Chengdu, Dorsett Shanghai, and Dorsett Wuhan; in Malaysia, hotels include the Grand Dorsett Subang, Grand Dorsett Labuan, Dorsett Regency Kuala Lumpur, Silka Maytower and Serviced Residences, along with the Silka Johor Bahru. Dorsett Hospitality is also offering specials for the Valentine's Holiday with 18 percent discounts off best available rates and extended check-out times at Silka Hotels in Malaysia from Jan 26-Feb 24.
