The Holiday Inn Express Hong Kong SoHo celebrated its grand opening recently. The hotel prides itself on its eco-friendly initiatives at the brand new hotel, including the use of natural lighting, a headboard cooler that controls the optimal temperature for guests during bedtime, and a fresh air control system in rooms to conserve cooling energy when there is less demand. At the opening celebration, Wong Ip Kuen, chairman of Yau Lee Holdings Limited, said: "We want to provide a clean and sustainable building right here in Hong Kong. To me, this is certainly a worthwhile investment, not only (for) the stakeholders but for everyone." |

Hotel Okura Macau was conferred the China Travel Award at a ceremony in Shanghai on Oct 24. The hotel was also named among the top three "Best Business Hotels Macau" by Business Traveller Asia Pacific.
