Hangzhou Siemens brand store selling innovation

Siemens Home Appliances' largest brand store in China opened on July 15 in Hangzhou.

Siemens Home Appliances opened a new store on July 15 in Hangzhou, bringing the total number of its Chinese outlets up to three, including existing stores in Nanjing and Beijing.

As Siemens' largest brand store in China, the Hangzhou branch will provide consumers a wide variety of quality home appliances.

Roland Gerke, CEO and president of BSH Home Appliances (China) Co Ltd, attended the opening ceremony.

Visitors got a closer look at many soon-to-be-released built-in household appliances during the opening ceremony.

During the interactive exhibition, the flawless performance of the Siemens built-in dishwasher impressed all. Its energy-saving mode uses 10 to 12 liters of water, and its pop-up dish-warming drawer has a temperature that can be adjusted manually from 30 C and 80 C.

Siemens' combination oven, steamer and microwave makes full use of minimal space while easily fulfilling all baking and cooking requirements. Visitors were impressed by the quality of food prepared in the oven. Wine lovers and collectors were drawn to the beautifully built-in wine cooler.

Gerke said he has high expectations for the Hangzhou brand store.

"Siemens Home Appliances (Hangzhou) Brand Store is a window for us that is open to all local customers," Gerke said.

By providing appliances that live up to high international standards and understanding the needs of local consumers, Siemens can help make Hangzhou, known as one of China's most livable cities, an even better place, Gerke said.

This store is located in Qianjiangxincheng, Fengqi East Rd 153-155, Hangzhou. Covering an area of 443 square meters, it faces the beautiful Qiantang River.

There are two distinguishing aspects of this particular store - experience marketing and personal customization.

Siemens integrates innovative design with developed technology, combining Eastern and Western culinary culture. The company aims to deliver quality built-in household appliances to Chinese customers who aspire for a high standard of living.

Built-in household appliances have long been the major trend in modern kitchens.

In 1962, when Siemens Home Appliances introduced built-in kitchen appliances, it was a revolutionary concept.

In 2012, it has further revised this idea by creating a 21st century solution that completely merges appliances with cabinets to make full use of space. This allows for a kitchen that is cleaner, more organized, easily managed and eco-friendly.

By experiencing the range of built-in home appliances in the brand store, customers are able to gain a deeper understanding of Siemens Home Appliances' research capabilities, the goal of which is to save energy with the support of technology.

Gerke expressed his pride in this concept.

"Energy conservation and environmental protection are at the core of our company. These concepts cover the whole procedure all the way from procurement to production," he said.

"We strive for this by employing advanced technology in the field and provide Siemens home appliances with superior functions as well as dual comfort and convenience to customers," he added.
