8 Degrees Homemade Mooncakes

With the Mid-Autumn Festival approaching, chefs at Harbour Plaza 8 Degrees are rolling out lip-smacking mooncakes for the once-a-year sweet occasion.

For traditional mooncake lovers, there is the classic choice - the "Mini White Lotus Paste and Whole Salted Egg Yolk" variety, which combines creamy white lotus paste with the distinctive flavor of the whole salted egg yolk.

For those who prefer mooncakes with a modern taste, the "Mini Fresh Pineapple" offers a refreshing tropical blend, using the finest ingredients as well as the freshest pineapples.

Starting from Sept 10, you can order or pick up splendid gift boxes at HK$198 a box, each box containing eight mouthwatering pieces. Early bird purchases on or before the end of this month enjoy a 15 percent discount - that's just one week left.

Greens Cafe

Senior Sous Chef Rick Kwan presents a special four-course first anniversary menu and a nine-course tasting menu with appetizing seasonal ingredients, such as Mint Apple Vinaigrette, Cocktail Orange Sauce, Balsamic Pear Vinegar and Basil Orange Juice.

The enticing first anniversary menu is complimented with six exclusive wines selected by Frederic Le Coustumer, sommelier at Metropark Hotel Wanchai Hong Kong, who has selected wines with a fruity note and a subtle aroma to match the summery taste of the dishes.
