It's a mad AD world 

Mark Ringer is the Executive Creative Director of TBWA's Hong Kong office. He has observed that advertising market differences often depend on local culture.

Pervasive advertisements play a significant role, shaping Hong Kong's urban landscape. They also play a role in shaping society as a whole. When advertisements proved misleading, the government proposed new regulations aimed at specific industries. Some problems however are not easily remedied. Doug Meigs reports.
